George W Bush was born of July 6, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. He is the first child of former U.S. president George Herbert Walker Bush and Barbara Bush.

George Walker Bush along with his 4 siblings was raised in Midland and Houston, Texas. George W Bush had another younger sister named Robin, who died in 1953 from leukemia. She was three years old at that time.
Bush’s ancestors emigrated in the seventeenth century from Somerset, England, to North America. Bush’s grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a U.S. Senator from Connecticut while his father was the U.S. President from 1989 to 1993. George W Bush is also distantly related to President Franklin Pierce.
Until seventh grade, Bush attended San Jacinto High School in Midland, Texas. After that he moved for 2 years to Kinkaid School in Piney Point Village, Texas. From September 1961 to June 1964, George W Bush attended Phillips Academy just like his father. Later from September 1964 to May 1968, he attended Yale University.
During his Yale years, George W Bush became a member of a secret society known as Skull and Bones. Incidentally his father and grandfather were also members of this society. In Yale, Bush was a C student and he had a GPA of 2.35 with no As and one D in astronomy.
George W Bush is the forty third and current president of the United States of America. His first presidential term was in 2001 and he was reelected for a second term in the 2004 presidential election. From 1995 to 2000, Bush was the Governor of Texas.
